It provides an abundance of wildlife, fauna, flora, historical sites and some of the most spectacular scenery imaginable.
From Etosha Pan in the north to the Fish River Canyon in the south and everything in between, join us for an epic gravel road adventure.
If you are looking for a quiet, peaceful, sunny and natural paradise with a minimum amount of human intervention, then Namibia is your destination!
DAY 1
Arrive in Windhoek, Namibia's capital city, which is sheltered by the Eros Mountains in the east and the Aus mountains in the south.
Do a self drive tour through Windhoek and get a feel for this town with its African and Western cultures and old colonial German buildings.

DAY 2
We leave after an early breakfast, ride north out of Windhoek, through the Waterberg Plateau and head for Etosha, the Great White Place.
We will be spending time in this unique area. The game viewing here is spectacular with vast numbers of animals at the watering holes.

Day 3
Today is a rest day.
A half day game drive into Etosha has been organized for you.
Hopefully we will get to see some of the Big 5!

Day 4
We leave this 22 000 square kilometer park and head west.
The scenery will change as we head towards Damaraland with its majestic flat-topped mountains, granite rock formations, numerous rock paintings and a couple of other attractions.

Day 5
Today we have a short ride through some spectacular scenery.
We visit the Petrified Forest, Twyfelfontein Rock paintings, Burnt Mountain and Organ Pipes.
The day is slow and leisurely and your camera will be working overtime!

Day 6
Get ready for another change of scenery today.
We leave Damaraland, riding through interesting rock formations, grasslands and camel thorn bush and then a complete change!
Be ready for a drop in temperature as we head to the west coast.
We visit Henties Bay and then ride the Salt Road to Swakopmund.

Day 7
Today is a rest day.
Take time to explore Swakopmund with its strong German influence.
Maybe go Dune boarding, do a Living Desert tour or swap your 2 wheels for 4 - the day is yours.

Day 8
Now things get interesting!
We finally reach the desert and be prepared to have your socks knocked off.
We ride through 2 scenic passes and ride in and out of the Namib-Naukluft Park.
The Naukluft Mountains form part of the dramatic escarpment which separates the coastal plains from the inland plateau.

Day 9
We leave early and head for Sesriem and Sossusvlei.
We are allowed into the park with our bikes and will ride to Dune 45.
Here, the energetic ones can climb this most photographed dune and have a birds' eye-view of the Sea of Dunes.
These beautiful red dunes move the soul.
Those that would like to, can catch a transfer into Sossusvlei itself and visit Deadvlei as well.
Our next overnight stop is about an hour and half from Sesriem Canyon.

Day 10
Another early start but the ride is truly scenic.
Today we head further south and will spend the next 2 days at Aus.
As we travel the landscape changes continually.
You have to keep reminding yourself that you are still in the same country.

Day 11
Today is a rest day but we recommend a ride through to Luderitz, taking in Kolmanskop and the Wild Desert horses en-route.
While in Luderitz, visit Shark Island and once again just marvel at the vast differences in landscape and geology that Namibia has to offer.

Day 12
We have a fairly short ride to the spectacular Fish River Canyon.
We are able to ride to the Viewing Points and spend some time at this, the second biggest canyon in the world.

Day 13
We leave the south and start on our journey north.
We visit the Quiver Tree forest and Giants Playground on our way to the Kalahari, the 4th desert in Namibia.

Day 14
The last leg of our journey is on good old tar!
We travel through central Namibia and once again the ever-changing landscape surprises you.
Upon arrival in Windhoek you can visit some Craft markets.
Tonight we have our final dinner at a very well-known and unique pub.
