Questionnaire completed as requested. On a further pers note I would like to sincerely thank you and your team (you, folks, Gizzy and even Michelle doing the logistics). It was a stunning trip, even more so as everything was sorted like clockwork. I can imagine that there was a bit of frustration and possibly some stress as there inevitably is in Africa working with Africans that do things their own way, but it never filtered down to us clients, and you all always shared a cheerful smile and a no problem attitude.

Just a small note to thank all of you for the wonderful bike trip in South Africa, both Shona and I very much appreciated your professional attitude, genuine enthusiasm and fantastic hospitality which way surpassed our expectations. It was very refreshing to find this level of service and attention to detail in today's sell it and forget it about it world, therefore I would have no reservation to recommend your company.

I sent you a hyper-link to my web album of the holiday in the previous e-mail, although I know how slow the internet service is so there is a good chance you won't see the pictures; don't worry I will post a DVD with all the pictures as well as a printed picture of factory workers we met during our trip I believe Michelle has their address.

We look forward to another trip to South Africa so will be in touch with you at some point next year, in the meantime stay safe and thanks once again for delighting us with the amazing scenery, astounding biking roads, excellent accommodation and food from your country.

A group of us (from Dubai) just got back from a wonderful trip to Cape Town-Garden Route, South Africa.
The trip was organized for us by Darrell & Michelle from GS Adventures, it was a magnificent trip and everything was perfectly organized, Darrel and Michelle spared no efforts to make our ride as enjoyable as it could be.

Once we have returned to our home in Holland, we realise we have been on a wonderfull tour of about 6.000 km through a amazing part of southern Africa. We have been crossing borders, rivers, various lodges with campsites that look like paradise and lots of roads in various state of maintenance.

You have managed to give us 17 days of very much pleasure in riding in nature that is stunning nice.

You must have put in a lot of research to make everything work out the way you wanted it to work out for us, and there were many pleasant surprises!!!!

Thanks for giving us so much pleasure and a good look of Africa, we could not have been expecting to have such a nice trip.

The unstoppable GS Big 5 African Adventure 2008

Hi Darrell,

I promised I would write a brief testimonial so I can let other people know quite how fantastic our trip was with GS Adventures – this was some months ago, however we can’t all be as organised and efficient as yourself and Michelle!

We had an amazing time on the tour and I can’t thank Darrell and Michelle enough for making it a truly memorable adventure. Sorting arrangements in Africa (of any kind) can be a bit overwhelming, but absolutely everything was taken care of, so that we could just enjoy the country, the ride and of course the bikes. The invaluable local knowledge Darrell and Michelle brought to the trip meant that we never wasted any time making mistakes or trawling roads between interesting places, but got to enjoy the very best roads and scenery throughout the trip. Finally, though it was not a training course my riding came on leaps and bounds over the course of our trip, not least through some great tips and advice from our seriously experienced guides (bring on the sand!). If you are looking for an epic adventure punctuated with absolute gems of places to stay, I for one can’t recommend GS Adventures enough.Loved it and I’ve already got my eye on the next trip with you guys.
